In the end, we spent 2 adrenaline-filled weeks travelling the length of New Zealand in a motor home`. Whilst this wasn't the most glamorous way to travel, it was certainly the most fun. We were wonderfully independent and saw parts of the country we could never have reached otherwise. Without the thoughtful research Angela had done, which I simply didn't have the time for, I would never have chosen to holiday in a motor home. Following her advice, though, and knowing that she understood what we were looking for, we had the trip of a lifetime and could still afford to indulge in some of life's luxuries while we were away. Leaving majestic New Zealand behind, we had a 2-day stopover in Singapore, with Angela arranging flights to maximise our time in this remarkable city, and supplying a list of must-sees for us to make the best of our short stay. Then, it was on to spend 5 days of sumptuous relaxation in the Maldives. Angela managed to find us great rates in one of the top resorts, and it was simply paradise. Everything was perfect, and it was a fabulous way to end our holiday. Without compromising on quality at any stage of our journey, we embarked on our lives together with the trip of a lifetime, the stuff of dreams.
